Mac and Cheese: This dish is an all-time favorite with kids and is a great lunchbox option too. It is the cheese that makes it a hit among kids.

Ingredients:

  • Uncooked macaroni – 2 cups
  • Carrots (thinly sliced) – 3 to 4
  • Peas – 1 cup
  • Milk – 2/3rd cup
  • Cream cheese – ¼ cup
  • Mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
  • Dried basil – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and pepper – according to taste 

Method:

  • Boil water and cook macaroni at least for 3 minutes.
  • Add the carrots and peas and cook until the macaroni and the vegetables are well cooked.
  • In a pan take the milk and the cream cheese. Keep on stirring until the cheese melts properly.
  • Add the mozzarella cheese, some salt, and pepper to it and give it a good mix.
  • Pour this over the cooked pasta and gently mix it.

  • Lean ground beef – 1 pound

  • Apples – 2
